Edward W. Carter (June 29, 1911 – April 1996) was an American businessman, philanthropist and art collector. He served as the President of Broadway Stores, Chair of the University of California Board of Regents, and owner of the Hannah Carter Japanese Garden. ==Early life== Edward W.
